Welcome to MRMap
MRMap is free software for Mountain Rescue in the UK and Ireland and is used for tracking MR personnel during training and callouts
The MRMap software gives Mountain Rescue Search Managers, Team Leaders and Control Room staff the ability to better manage their team by giving continous GPS positioning, sent over the team radio and shown onto a computer screen back at base (or even a laptop in a team vehicle!).

MRMap has been written by Mountain Rescue people for Mountain Rescue people! Best of all it is free for use by Rescue Teams in the UK and Ireland. MRMap is not a commercial project.
The software is written and the project is run by currently serving Mountain Rescue Team Members. MRMap is not affiliated or tied to any commercial organisation. The MRMap team members are volunteers and give of their time and effort for nowt.
MRMap is currently used operationally by over 50 Rescue Teams across the UK and Ireland.
To get the "full experience" of the web site you will need to subscribe. Once you have been sent a username and password please navigate to the forum where you will be able to log in.

Generally the usernames are firstname_familyname
- Note the underscore between. e.g. fred_smith or tony_adams
